  • Based out of Grande Prairie, Ab area.
  • Previous experience servicing/maintaining wellsite accomodations or camp facilities an asset but not required

Technical Sales Representative Environmental Division

A Technical Sales Representative to join our team on the Environmental side of our business. Our Technical Sales Representatives are part of a team of highly motivated technicians who use their knowledge and experience to help our clients find sediment removal solutions from all water sources.

Do you have experience in de-watering or desludging?

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work directly with customers to plan and execute their water cleaning projects.
  • Help achieve profitable sales and successful project in the eyes of all stakeholders.
  • Expanding the customer base as well as retaining existing accounts.
  • Preparing bid documents and submitting bids on schedule.
  • Working with clients to get all of the required information to estimate jobs.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualities: 

  • Experience in direct sales, customer service, or account management with environmental applications is an asset.
  • P. Ag, T. Ag or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline is an asset.
  • 3 to 5 years experience in the water treatment field.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a range of environments including but not limited to livestock facilities, pulp and paper facilities, industrial facilities, power industry facilities, food and beverage facilities, etc.
  • Previous experience in these facilities is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated sales/people skills and/or aptitude.
  • The candidate must have superior communication and listening skills (both written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated computer skills, including Adobe PDF writer, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • The candidate must be willing to work independently (after proper training) and be a self-starter.
  • Customer-centric mindset, able to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business solutions.
  • Some overnight travel involved.

Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or is working toward a designation in Accounting. They must possess problem solving skills and be meticulous in their attention to detail. They must be able to work well under pressure and be able to meet deadlines. Multi-tasking, problem solving and a keen eye for detail a must.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounts Receivable: 

  • Billing of Rental tickets using Customer Billing Systems (ADP, CORTEX, Etc.)
  • Coordinate/inform Dispatch/Sales on disputed or problem Invoices
  • Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
  • Maintain Accounts Receivable customer files and records
  • Communicate with customers via phone and/or email
  • New customers credit applications/credit checks Prepare bank deposits and post payments to customer accounts
  • Process EFT payments

AccountsPayable: 

  • Set up and maintain supplier accounts
  • Review and verify Invoices, sort code and match to PO’s Data entry of invoices
  • Track expenses and process expense reports
  • Prepare and process payments including Cheques, EFT & Fund Transfers
  • Reconcile accounts to supplier statements Research & resolve discrepancies

General: 

  • All Accounting filing
  • Stationery and office supply ordering
  • Ad hoc reporting as needed
  • Sending & receiving couriers
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

  • Formal education in accounting, either pursuing or has a professional accounting designation. Accounting or Business diploma/Degree may be considered.
  • Experience with Microsoft dynamics
  • Strong time management, with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Exceptional data entry/billing skills with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • A special consideration will be given for Payroll experience.
